TradeStart Assistance

The Australian Trade Commission (Austrade) is the Federal Government agency that helps Australian companies win overseas business for their products and services. Specifically, Austrade assists companies select, enter and develop international markets.

In Regional South Australia, Austrade services are delivered through TradeStart - a Commonwealth program where Austrade co-funds with private sector organisations, State Governments and regional development bodies, to encourage export growth for small and medium enterprises and regional Australia.

TradeStart aims to take the exporter from the initial enquiry stage through to successful export. Unique features of the suite of services are coaching; mentoring; intensive workshops; delivering export opportunities; and international experience including assistance in-market for an initial market visit, through its team of TradeStart Export Advisors.
