The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) is pleased to announce a new NBCF Career Fellowship award, designed to attract and retain the best minds in the field of breast cancer research. Applications close on June 6, 2008 and the Career Fellowship will commence in 2009. The award will provide individuals across all research disciplines the opportunity to enhance their scientific capabilities and specific research interests, while advancing innovation in breast cancer research.
Community Learning Projects are run by the Adult Community Education (ACE) Program. The program focuses on non-formal, non accredited learning and the development of foundation skills for those who have difficulty in accessing formal education, training and employment.
Managed by the Threatened Species Network (TSN), the grants program was established to support and inspire communities to conduct on-ground work for the ongoing health of our natural environment, specifically targeting the needs of nationally threatened species and ecological communities.
DEEWR has made available funding for career advisers to study at postgraduate level to upgrade their qualifications as a Career Adviser. Applications open 1 May and close 11 July 2008.
