"Your Business – Your People" Employer Resource Kit
Building on the Building Business Capability (BBC) workshops conducted during 2008-09, this kit is a user-friendly guide to workforce planning in a format available to a wider audience. The resources help employers develop and introduce workforce plans into their business and to implement strategies responding to today's workforce issues.
The kit includes:
- A series of information cards on workforce topics;
- A workforce planning guide that provides the steps and templates for businesses to undertake workforce planning;
- A "cost of recruitment" tool; and
- A CD containing simple, effective templates and a case study demonstrating effective workforce planning.
It is the culmination of research and consultation with South Australian businesses during the Building Business Capability in Workforce Development Program. We hope it will help you build and retain a workforce that contributes to the success of your business and the South Australian economy.
Hard copies are available from your local Regional Development Board or Business Enterprise Centre.
